Day 4 FBBC

Ok I am back again after MinerBoy and moi went to get the groceries out of the way. What an afternoon!!!!! First there was a phone call from the Labour Hire group which organised the interview for the job. They are paying me so I have to go to the office first thing and i mean early tomorrow morning and fill in a mountain or nine of paperwork. The rate they are paying is a bit less than what we had thought the normal rate was but I have to do this as it gives me a leg up to a full time job I have a feeling I am going to really like. So I said to MinerBoy - " Hang on a tic - I had better get some work pants as the other place had a uniform and I only have one good decent pair." So I toddled into Rockmans and grabbed the first navy pair I found. They looked ok and were on special. I am in that NO MANS LAND of size and the 16 is loose but the 14 is to tight....well actually on some things the 14 can be loose but you know how sizing can be. I was in the change room and my mobile rang and I knew he would not have called unless something was wrong. Yep........ a woman had backed her Land Cruiser into the side of the car BUT thank god she stopped and we exchanged info. So I have a delightful scrape and huge dent in the side of the little car....sighhhhhhh. BUT I am ready to start work on Monday and weigh in and still be positive!!!! Also - Miss B honey? I cant seem to get to the comments section on your Blog as my computer is playing sillybuggers. I wanted to let you know how fantastic you are doing and you should be really proud of yourself Amigo. And Calam? Just tell me when to stop sending you all the Core stuff lovey!

Sometimes my stupidity leaves even me breathless. Yep I decided to get on the damn scales a day early and they said I had put on 800 grams!!!!! But I cant just ignore how good I have felt since starting on Core so I have sucked it up and I definitely will not be taking it as official! Also at least I have seen the scales move at least somewhere so that's gotta be good cose it tells me my scales are not broken!!!!
I am really liking Core and after the first three days where I ate anything I could simply because I could I feel even better today and have only used 1 point and that was with a bit of mayo and a Kraft Free cheese slice on my wholegrain bread roll at lunchtime. Tonight I am doing pork steaks with baked potato and a salad so I know that the only thing I have to count is the little bit of oil and the breadcrumbs on the pork. An orange or a banana for supper and I am sweet. Speaking of sweet - discovered that if I make a big glass of red diet cordial with a ton of ice - it satisfies any cravings I may have. Bizarre but true.
On an even BETTER note - I got a phone call yesterday to ask if I wanted to go to an interview at SunWater who are laying the pipeline here in Metropolis. Oh dear said I - gee I don't know AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Anyway off I went this morning at 9.00am and she called me about 20 minutes ago to offer me the job!!!! Ok its only two weeks work but it can lead to other work so I am dead chuffed and it will swell the coffers a teeny bit to! I desperately want a new computer and cannot bring myself to take money out of our savings for something which I think is a luxury. If I get two weeks work with the fingers crossed hope of more - then I can justify spending the wages on a new computer!
