Just Thinking

I have just been sitting here thinking about WW/new house/jobs etc etc. I started thinking about Beth and Annie and actually a couple of the girls on the WW boards. A couple of them make me laugh out loud when I read what they write and I realised that when I am chatting on MSN to Beth or Annie or even emailing them I am not, do not, think about food or anything except having a nice chat to a friend. How can a person click with another person? Why does Beth's silliness and bizarre sense of humour make me laugh? Why does reading Annie's Blog cheer me up? I have never met her or Beth but they both brighten my day. When I go to my emails or check MSN and see they are on I actually feel good!
How weird is that? How can you connect with a person you have never spent actual real time with? What do they look like? What are their favourite colours? Movies? Books?
Yep I think i definitely need a little rest and some niceness around me as I think my brain is going very strange indeed.

Trace maaaattttee, you are so sweet, I'm gonna cry, I mean it, hand me a tissue, see what you did? You made me cry. It's funny how we havn't met and I feel like you understand totally where I'm coming from. I guess there are just some people you are just meant to be friends with, regardless of the distance between us and the help of cyberspace.

Have I ever spoken to Beth on the WW Boards? What is Beth's WW Name?

I love you more and more everyday as I realise what an amazing person you are.

Especially when I realise I'm going to be twenty-four next week and to think, a couple of years ago I didn't think I would be! Because I have an amazing, strong, funny, vivacious, beautiful mummy who loves me regardless (and lets both her children get tattoos at the same time).

I love you!!!!

Of course you can click with someone you're never met. They are just a mouse click away. hehehe.. And if you ever get the opportunity to meet any of your online friends, DO IT!!! But take the usual precautions: public place, let someone else know, all that stuff.

I "clicked" with someone on the 30's board and she and I are now great friends. We catch up regularly and have joined a society together. And I've also met a few of the other girls we regularly chat with, just not anyone from interstate yet.

Cheers,
Janet (aka Jackie McKean)
